Enlighten3D was just an idea in 2019….

After visiting a manufacturing trade show back in 2019, I came across by chance a company
that were selling some slick Prototyping solutions.

After some further research I ordered some sample machines.

‘Goofoo3D’ Design and Build what are now known to be some of the most robust 3D Printers available.  The first two machines are still going strong to this day (April 2021)

Although great machines, there was room for improvement. And believe me the new updated version delivered on every detail. More safety, more endurance and higher quality components in all the right places.

The idea has pretty much grown from this meeting of chance.

So, what is the big idea?

During the early days of starting a 3D Printer hobby/business, people can sometimes get a little stuck on how to proceed to the next stage.

For this reason, The Enlighten 3D idea was born. Then put on hold due to the pandemic.

NJM Design Quickly acquired some non Goofoo3d dedicated printers (both in kit form) for the emergency face shield effort.

After a very frantic couple of months, it was clear from social media posts, 3D printing was not as easy as people hoped.

Some printers get shipped with faulty or incomplete software that without huge amounts of patience and engineering know how, just will not produce results even if assembled perfectly.

It was at this point I thought hmm…..Flawless printing and minimal engineering knowledge to get up and running……

Enter the Goofoo Tiny……

I had this incredible machine the whole time but due to size constraints was unable to use for face shield production.
